As you can see, not only is Cocoa a special dog, obviously, but a very special painting as well. The 2019 Crystal Charity Ball auctioned off a custom oil painting from Larry Gekiere – Artist to benefit the great charities supported by the annual event.

Since 1952, The Crystal Charity Ball has donated $165 million to 152 children’s charities in Dallas County over the past 69 years. And Larry Gekiere – Artist supports their efforts with donated paintings to be auctioned off to benefit the children’s charities.

And so the very photogenic Cocoa is the subject of my studio’s donation for the 2019 event – a custom oil painting to be auctioned off. This is the photograph that the lucky bidder sent to Larry to be transformed into a very special painting. (Perfect photo, by the way!)

Obviously, Cocoa has a terrific personality. And to make it even better, Cocoa’s custom oil painting was ultimately presented as a gift!
