My painting style
The oil paintings I offer are custom and hand painted. I never use a computer and my paintings are not mass produced.
I work from your photographs and with your input. And, as you will see, a hand-painted custom portrait, painted with care, can transcend a photo in capturing your pet’s spirit.
My style of painting is considered “painterly”. The definition of “painterly” is that you can see the brush stokes as opposed to “non-painterly”, like graphics produced by a computer. What this means to you is that your portrait will truly be unique – a one of a kind original.
I will work with you to ensure that you are absolutely delighted with the finished portrait. I always work hard to make sure it is an easy and positive experience for you.

All of my work is copyrighted. I retain full reproduction copyright on each portrait, but because of the personal nature of a commission piece, I will not use an image for cards or art prints without the permission of the client.
You own the painting that you purchase. If you want a reproduction of any kind, such as a t-shirt, mug, greeting card, or print, please contact me and I will assist you. I am happy to print giclée quality prints, in various sizes for you to give to friends and family.
