This painting was a lot of fun to create. The subjects came alive for me on the canvas. There were some interesting developments as I painted. I had to change it since Suzy wanted her hair to be slightly different. And, in addition, Poppy’s lovely fur covered both eyes. She only had part of one eye showing. Suzy preferred the painting show both of Poppy’s lovely eyes. I thought the finished product came out great, but best of all Suzy was happy.
